In the midst of an extensive restoration, Erie 834 sits at NJ Transit's Lebanon Station. Sister unit E8A 835 is being restored at this location as well.
RESTORED E8'S ROUNDING THE BAY HEAD LOOP WITH PASSENGER TRAIN.
This engine is sitting in a hidden yard just off the old Morris and Essex main line (now NJ Transit), just west of Morristown Station in Morristown, NJ.
